  • Arc Raiders Update 1.11.0 has arrived
  • It adds a new cosmetic set and makes balancing changes to the Kettle and Trigger 'Nades
  • Trigger 'Nades had quickly become a commonly exploited throwable weapon, and now they're much less effective in battle against other Raiders

Arc Raiders has just rolled out its first balancing update of 2026. Update 1.11.0 is now live across all platforms, focusing on adjustments to Trigger 'Nades and the Kettle.

Trigger 'Nades have been a contentious topic within the community, with many players feeling they were overpowered in PvP scenarios. The recent update has toned down their effectiveness, as detailed in a recent Arc Raiders blog post:

"This nerf aims to make it less usable as a 'trigger-in-air' grenade while maintaining its utility as a sticky bomb. Damage falloff has been rebalanced to concentrate damage closer to the explosion's center, reducing damage at greater distances."

The delay between triggering the grenade and its detonation has also increased from 0.7 seconds to 1.5 seconds, allowing players more time to react and making it harder to time detonations in mid-air.

The Kettle weapon has received a slight nerf as well, with its fire rate reduced from 600 to 450. This change is intended to counteract PC players using macros to achieve unrealistically high firing speeds:

"Reduced fire rate from 600 to 450. The previous rate was only realistically attainable by players using macros, creating an unfair advantage through third-party software."

A new cosmetic set called the Abyss has been introduced to the Store, featuring a diving theme with flippers and a snug helmet. Additionally, a key card exploit has been patched, and lighting has been adjusted in certain areas of Stella Montis.

Arc Raiders is currently available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The Cold Snap update has concluded, wrapping up the Flickering Flames event and the Expedition Departure Window.
