What role does Celia Imrie play in HBO Max's War?
Celia Imrie stars as Budgie, a freelance barrister at the newly launched Taylor & Byrne law firm. The series follows two rival legal firms during a high-profile divorce trial, with Imrie’s character bringing a strong, charismatic presence to the show.
Why was the show's opening scene reshot?
Due to Imrie’s commanding performance, viewers initially assumed she was the High Court Judge overseeing the trial, a role she does not play.
