  • The Realme P4 Power boasts a massive 10,001mAh battery
  • Weighing in at just 219g, it's surprisingly lightweight
  • Set to launch in India on January 29, with a global release yet to be announced

As we witness a surge in battery capacity advancements, Realme is stepping up with its upcoming phone featuring a remarkable 10,001mAh battery. Following the trend set by the 7,300mAh OnePlus 15, this new device promises to redefine smartphone longevity.

Named the Realme P4 Power, it is scheduled for release on January 29, and the company has already revealed extensive details about its capabilities. Users can expect up to 185.7 hours of music playback, 21.3 hours of navigation, 32.5 hours of YouTube streaming, or 72.3 hours of call time on a single charge.

This battery is likely to last several days for most users, potentially stretching to a week for lighter usage. Remarkably, the Realme P4 Power weighs only 219g, comparable to the 5,000mAh Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and lighter than the 5,088mAh iPhone 17 Pro Max.

This achievement is largely due to innovative silicon anode technology, which allows for greater energy storage compared to traditional graphite used in lithium-ion batteries. This technology, also utilized in some electric vehicles, enhances energy density without increasing weight, preventing the phone from becoming overly bulky.

Fast Charging and Durability

The P4 Power supports 80W fast charging and offers 27W reverse charging, making it a practical option for powering other devices.

Additionally, the phone has successfully passed military-grade shock tests, ensuring its durability, and its battery health is expected to remain above 80% for up to eight years, minimizing wear over time.

Beyond its impressive battery, the Realme P4 Power is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G chipset, a 50MP main camera, and a 144Hz display with a peak brightness of 6,500 nits, indicating strong overall specifications.

Pricing and availability details remain unclear, with the initial launch focused on India. However, given its standout battery performance, we hope to see it available globally.
