In our iPhone 17 Pro review, we rated the Apple flagship nearly perfectly, creating high expectations for its successor. A recent video leak provides an unofficial glimpse of the iPhone 18 Pro from multiple angles and in three new colors.
The video, released by Front Page Tech and Jon Prosser, who faced legal issues with Apple last year for leaking iOS 26 details, appears to be based on insider information from Apple's supply chain.
Design-wise, the iPhone 18 Pro seems to closely resemble its predecessor, with the iPhone 18 Pro Max expected to follow suit in a larger form factor.
However, changes in color are anticipated: Prosser mentions that shades like burgundy, brown, and purple are under consideration for 2026. One of these may join the previously leaked silver, orange, and blue options.
Face ID, Cameras, and More
Another notable change for the iPhone 18 Pro includes the repositioning of the selfie camera to the top left corner, while Face ID technology is expected to be integrated beneath the display, a feature that has been predicted previously.
The Dynamic Island feature will remain, but it will now extend from the top left corner of the device, allowing users to access calls, directions, and sports scores as before.
Prosser also highlights several other leaks: a variable aperture camera system for improved photography in various lighting conditions, a simplified Camera Control button, and 5G satellite connectivity.
If Apple's rumored launch schedule shake-up occurs, we can expect the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and a foldable iPhone to debut in September, while the iPhone 18 and iPhone Air 2 may be delayed until 2027.
