Dreame has established itself as a leader in the robot vacuum market, and its latest flagship model, the Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete, was recently unveiled at CES 2026. Currently available for preorder in the US, this model promises significant enhancements over its predecessor, the X50, which received an impressive 4.5-star rating in our review.
The X60 is among several innovative models showcased at CES, including the Cyber10 Ultra, which features an arm for tool handling, and the Cyber X, designed to navigate stairs. Notably, Dreame also announced its expansion into various new tech categories during the event.
As the flagship model, the X60 is tailored for everyday users. Here are three major improvements it offers over the X50:
1. It's Much Thinner
The standout feature of the X60 is its reduced height. With a top-mounted LiDAR puck that retracts when entering low spaces, the X60 measures just 3.13 inches (7.95 cm) tall, compared to the X50's 3.5 inches (8.9 cm). This slim profile allows it to clean under furniture more effectively, reaching areas that traditional vacuums often miss.
2. Scorching Hot Mop Washing
The X60 includes a cleaning dock that heats mop pads to a remarkable 212°F (100°C), ensuring thorough cleaning by eliminating grease and grime. In contrast, the X50's maximum cleaning temperature was 176°F (80°C).
3. Improved Threshold Climbing
Building on the X50's ProLeap system, which allowed it to navigate obstacles up to 2.4 inches (6 cm), the X60 can now handle thresholds up to 3.47 inches (8.8 cm). This enhancement significantly increases its accessibility throughout your home, allowing it to traverse more areas without manual assistance.
In addition to these key features, the X60's dock includes a dual-solution compartment for dispensing both standard floor cleaner and a specialized solution for pet odors. Users can also expect faster navigation, enhanced sensors for detecting pet hair and liquids, and improved suction power.
The X60 Max Ultra Complete is currently available for preorder at a list price of $1,699.99, with promotional offers reducing the price by $340 and including additional accessories and an extended warranty. While it is currently US-only, Dreame's strong presence in the UK and Australia suggests that the X60 will soon be available in those markets as well.
