Electronic Arts has announced the upcoming update for Battlefield 6. Update 1.1.3.5 is scheduled for January 20, 2026, and aims to refine melee combat while enhancing overall game stability and polish.

The update was revealed on X, detailing the changes to expect. Key highlights include:

  • Enhanced responsiveness and consistency for melee attacks, including knives and the sledgehammer.
  • Adjusted jet combat balance by decreasing jet cannon effectiveness against other aerial vehicles.
  • Refined UI and HUD across Multiplayer and REDSEC, improving armor bar visibility, reticle presentation, and menu navigation.

Additionally, there are numerous minor adjustments to vehicles, HUD elements, and the Assault Ladder. Overall, update 1.1.3.5 emphasizes subtle improvements, which is fitting as Battlefield 6 remains in Season 1 until February 17.

This follows a recent delay for Season 2, suggesting that players can anticipate smaller updates until the next major content release. On January 27, players will also have the opportunity to explore a new Frostfire Bonus Path as part of the ongoing Season One battle pass, featuring new free and premium rewards for completing Weekly Challenges.

Hopefully, these updates will keep players engaged until Season 2 launches, with a polished experience expected on February 17, 2026. Battlefield 6 is currently available on PS5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and PC.
