- Arc Raiders players are growing frustrated with out-of-bounds cheaters
- The latest patch has resolved some issues, but not all
- Embark Studios has promised additional fixes in the upcoming weeks
Arc Raiders has rolled out a patch that attempts to tackle some of the frustrating out-of-bounds cheating, yet player reactions suggest that the issue is far from resolved.
Update 1.12.0 is a relatively minor patch, with details available on the official Arc Raiders website. The update addresses several exploits, notably:
- Fixes for instances where players could inflict damage from behind geometry.
- Corrections for various out-of-bounds locations on the Stella Montis map.
The Stella Montis map has become a hotspot for unscrupulous players, who exploit glitches to attack others without being seen. Players have reported that the recent update has only managed to slow down cheaters rather than eliminate them entirely, as noted by IGN.
Users on the official Discord server expressed their dissatisfaction, with one stating, “There is still a wall glitch in Stella (somewhere in the lobby area). Embark is incapable of fixing their game.” Another user added, “So, I guess they didn’t fix wall glitches because I just got killed by 3 people inside the seed vault extract in Stella Montis.”
While it may take time to resolve these issues, developer Embark Studios has acknowledged the problem and indicated that further fixes will be implemented over the next few weeks.
