Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680, the same chip commonly found in mid-range Android devices, the JM21 2026 runs a customized version of Android 13. It includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage, with support for microSD cards up to 2TB.

The player supports a variety of audio formats, including Hi-Res Audio at up to 32-bit/384kHz, DSD512, and offers high-quality wireless connections through LDAC, LDHC, and aptX HD.

The battery capacity has been increased to 3,100mAh from the previous 2,400mAh, providing up to 700mW of output power for headphones. Additionally, it features a switchable three-way gain setting to accommodate a wide range of best wired headphones and best wired earbuds.
