The Trump Mobile T1 Phone still hasn’t shipped and its future appears to be uncertain.

Trump Mobile T1 Phone Delayed Again: Will It Ever Launch?
  • The Trump Mobile T1 Phone has missed another promised release date
  • Previous messaging had implied it would launch by the end of 2025
  • There’s been no update on when the device might now arrive

Former President Donald Trump has been promoting a gold-colored Trump-branded “T1 Phone” aimed at his supporters, yet despite accepting $100 pre-orders, the device remains elusive. Recently, the T1 Phone has missed yet another launch deadline.

Initially announced in June 2025, the phone was expected to ship by August or September of that year. Those dates have since passed without any deliveries, and the website now states it will be available “later this year.”

This vague phrasing suggested a release before the end of 2025, but as 2026 progresses, the phone is still nowhere to be seen.

Visiting the Trump Mobile website reveals that the phone is still promised for “later this year,” without any clarification on which year that might be. The uncertainty surrounding the launch raises questions about the product's actual release timeline.

Missing in Action

Technically, the “later this year” statement could still hold true if it refers to a point later in 2026. However, the original promise of a 2025 launch has clearly been missed.

According to the Financial Times, Trump Mobile's customer service indicated that the phone's release was delayed due to the recent US government shutdown. In December 2025, they mentioned a “strong possibility” that the device would not ship by the end of the month, which has now proven accurate.

This is not the first instance of controversy surrounding Trump Mobile. The company has reportedly abandoned its pledge to manufacture the T1 Phone in the USA, and its mobile network has faced numerous issues and limitations for users.

International Data Corp. analyst Francisco Jeronimo expressed skepticism about the phone's future in an interview with PBS, stating, “We have always been quite skeptical about this phone. They are probably finding that it is harder to build a phone than they thought it would be. Let’s see if this thing comes to life or not.”

As the new year begins with the phone still absent, it remains uncertain when—or if—it will finally be released. Even if it does materialize, it may not align with the initial promises made at its unveiling.
