- Asus ProArt GoPro Edition PX13 focuses on branding rather than hardware upgrades
- Powered by AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor without new modifications
- Memory and storage options are identical to the standard ProArt PX13
Asus has introduced the ProArt GoPro Edition PX13 at CES 2026, featuring design and workflow enhancements while maintaining the same hardware specifications.
The laptop showcases a black metal chassis, CNC-engraved accents, cyan keyboard lighting, and a bundled sleeve, reinforcing its crossover branding, yet the hardware foundation remains consistent with the existing ProArt lineup.
At its core, the device is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 3950X processor, which includes 16 CPU cores, boost frequencies up to 5.1 GHz, a peak TDP of 85 W, and an integrated NPU rated for 50 TOPS.
Consistent Hardware Underneath the Branding
Memory options reach up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X at 8000 MHz, with storage capacities of up to 1 TB via PCIe 4.0 SSD.
Asus states that it emphasizes “Performance in Motion” for sustained editing tasks, but these specifications closely mirror those of previously announced ProArt Ryzen AI models.
Its CPU and NPU capabilities remain unchanged, including support for AI-assisted features in applications like Adobe Premiere Pro.
The Asus ProArt GoPro Edition PX13 features a 13-inch 360-degree convertible design with a Lumina OLED panel boasting a resolution of 2880 x 1800, delivering 100% DCI-P3 color coverage and factory calibration rated at Delta E below 1.
This display supports refresh rates from 48 Hz to 120 Hz, with a 0.2 ms response time, showing no significant differences from earlier ProArt models.
It also accommodates stylus input and includes the ASUS DialPad for on-device creative control, although it does not introduce new functionalities.
A notable addition is a dedicated GoPro Hotkey, which allows users to launch the GoPro Player with a single press.
This key is designed for quick access to 360° footage and previews, streamlining workflows for creators who frequently use GoPro media.
Additionally, integration with StoryCube automates cloud syncing and file organization, facilitating faster management of extensive footage libraries without manual effort.
These features enhance accessibility rather than expand capabilities, relying on software integration instead of new processing pipelines.
A MicroSD card reader with cyan accents is included, though its throughput and supported standards remain unchanged.
The device meets MIL-STD 810H standards for shock, temperature, humidity, and vibration, showcasing its rugged, military-grade design as a rugged laptop.
Weighing approximately 1.39 kg, it operates on Windows 11 Home, with Copilot+ and bundled trials for Adobe Creative Cloud and CapCut included.
Unfortunately, aside from the branding, aesthetic modifications, and a single hotkey, the GoPro Edition offers little substance, making it challenging to justify as a significant update.
