Exciting news! Emily in Paris Season 6 was officially confirmed by Netflix on January 6, 2026. You can catch up with the streamer's announcement video below.

Looking at the numbers, the renewal was a no-brainer. Netflix revealed that Emily In Paris Season 5 garnered 26.8 million views globally within just 11 days of its premiere, debuting at #2 in the Global Top 10 English TV list. The same season reached the top 10 in 91 countries and claimed the #1 spot in 24, including France, Italy, Brazil, and Germany.

Creator Darren Star mentioned at a press conference prior to Season 5's release: "There are many places I’d love to visit. However, the show naturally follows its storyline. Emily in Paris will always have its home base. But if I can take the audience on a journey somewhere else, I would love that… [It’s] fun to think about.”

After watching the Season 5 ending, I have my doubts about Paris being Emily's (Lily Collins) forever home. However, we still have a long wait for answers. Here’s everything we know about Emily in Paris Season 6 so far.

Release Window Predictions for Season 6

Since Season 6 has just been announced, and Season 5 was released on December 18, 2025, it seems we have a bit of a wait ahead for new episodes.

If we’re fortunate, filming might begin later in 2026, which likely means 2027 will be the earliest we can watch Season 6.

Stay tuned for Netflix's updates.

Cast Predictions for Season 6

It’s reasonable to expect the following cast members to return for Emily in Paris Season 6:

  • Lily Collins as Emily Cooper
  • Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie Grateau
  • Ashley Park as Mindy Chen
  • Lucas Bravo as Gabriel
  • Samuel Arnold as Julien
  • Bruno Gouery as Luc
  • William Abadie as Antoine Lambert
  • Lucien Laviscount as Alfie
  • Paul Forman as Nico
  • Arnaud Binard as Laurent G.
  • Minnie Driver as Princess Jane
  • Bryan Greenberg as Jake
  • Michèle Laroque as Yvette

There’s uncertainty regarding Eugenio Franceschini, who plays Marcello. As seen in the Season 5 finale, he and Emily seemingly ended their relationship, but his emerging fashion brand is in partnership with Agence Grateau.

While a romantic reunion seems unlikely, there’s potential for him to return in a professional capacity, as well as for his mother, Antonia (Anna Galiena).

Plot Predictions for Season 6

WARNING: spoilers for Emily in Paris Season 5 ahead.

Even before Season 6 was confirmed, the show's future was hinted at in the Season 5 finale.

We are on the verge of Emily and Gabriel possibly rekindling their romance, which will likely be a central storyline. Fans missed Bravo's presence in Season 5, so there will be a strong demand to see him on screen more often.

Now that he has invited her to Greece, we may witness more international travel in upcoming episodes.

Another key storyline will revolve around Jane's new role at Agence Grateau. The team managed to tolerate her during their time in Rome, but now that they’re back home, Jane's Italian connections may prove to be of little use. Can Sylvie handle sharing her leadership, and will Jane's financial input create more chaos than benefit?

Additional subplots to explore include Mindy's engagement to Nico, Marcello's solo venture, and Emily's journey towards managing her own office.
