Traditionally, the most feature-rich lawn mowers are large, high-end models designed for expansive properties, leaving compact options feeling somewhat neglected. However, Segway Navimow has launched a new compact robot mower that promises to provide smaller yards with the meticulous care they deserve.
Among the various lawnbots showcased at CES 2026, the Segway Navimow i2 AWD stands out. While it may not boast the flashiest design, being the most affordable of the brand's 2026 offerings, it incorporates innovative features that allow it to create a perfectly manicured, striped lawn without risking damage to your turf.
This robot mower features all-wheel drive (AWD), a rarity for compact models. With only two main wheels, it may not tackle particularly rocky terrain, but it ensures that the wheels do not drag on your grass during turns, which is crucial for making tight pivots and creating stripes.
Additionally, the front stability wheel has been redesigned to be powered and capable of pivoting 180 degrees, allowing the robot to navigate sharp turns confidently and without tearing up the grass. This technology is referred to as 'Xero-turn' by the brand.
To enhance battery efficiency, the mower employs 'Adaptive Drive,' which activates the front wheel only when necessary, potentially extending battery life by up to 30%.

The Segway Navimow includes built-in Electronic Stability Control (ESC) that automatically adjusts the mower's trajectory on slopes for stability. It also features a traction control system (TCS) that dynamically adjusts wheel torque to prevent sliding, which can harm the grass.
While it may not be the most rugged option available, it can handle moderately challenging terrain, supporting slopes up to 45% (24 degrees) and steps or thresholds up to 1.6 inches high. Segway Navimow guarantees precise mowing even on slippery or root-laden ground and around stone paths.
The Navimow i2 AWD Series comes in two models: the i206 AWD, suitable for yards up to 0.15 acres, and the i210 AWD, designed for areas up to 0.25 acres. The prices are set at $999 and $1,299, respectively.
