The company introduced a new glacier blue colorway for the Claw 8 AI+ and refreshed its desktop components line, creating a cohesive ecosystem. However, four standout products truly captured attention, going beyond mere chipset updates or aesthetic changes.
Raider 16 Max HX
This year’s CES may not have featured entirely new gaming processors, but MSI still enhanced the Raider 16 for increased power. Touted as MSI's “most powerful laptop ever,” the Raider 16 Max HX boasts an impressive 300W of total device power, which is significant considering the capabilities of last year’s Raider A18 HX.
The power distribution includes 125W for the Intel Core Ultra 200HX CPU and 175W for the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 or 5090 GPU.
Additionally, it features a quick-access panel on the bottom cover for easy memory and storage upgrades, ensuring longevity even if the Raider 16 Max HX comes with a hefty price tag.
Prestige 14 Flip AI
Similar to last year’s Summit 13 AI+, the Prestige 14 Flip AI showcases a sleek new design, moving away from the Summit’s black and gold color scheme while incorporating Intel’s latest Core Ultra 300 series CPUs.
Equipped with the MSI Pen 2 and a 360-degree convertible hinge, the Prestige 14 Flip AI stands out as the most portable and versatile option in the new Prestige lineup.
Vision RS AI 2nd Gen
MSI has also revamped the Vision RS AI desktop. Featuring a seamless curved glass panel and an all-white case, the Vision RS AI 2nd Gen is a powerful, liquid-cooled machine capable of running AI models or games seamlessly.
Its design is clean and understated, a departure from the typical RGB-heavy gaming aesthetics, and it can be configured with an Intel Core Ultra 9 and Nvidia RTX 5090.
MPG 27QRF X36
Among the fast OLED displays showcased at CES, the MPG 27QRF stands out with its 360Hz, 0.5ms panel, featuring Nvidia’s G-Sync Pulsar motion clarity and variable refresh rate.
It also includes a built-in webcam and a sleek design with a sturdy base.
